Feeling the Pressure? (grades K-5; Physical Science, Biology)
Students explore the relation between water pressure, density, and depth to gain an increased understanding of how water pressure affects humans and marine life.

Where in the World is Hawaii? (grades K-5; Geography, Biology)
Students become familiar with abstract representations of the world and note the isolation of Hawaiian Islands from other land masses.

Sand Explorations (grades 2-9; Geography, Geology)
Why do Maui's beaches look so different from one another? By examining beach sand from various locations, students create a "sand map" to explain the geological, geographic and biological forces at work.
